Citi Takes Last Off-Ramp Before Eolas Patent Trial

Law360, New York (February 08, 2012, 7:44 PM ET) -- Citigroup Inc. on Tuesday exited Eolas Technologies Inc.'s suit accusing it of infringing patents for interactive browser technology, settling the dispute on the eve of the patent-holding company's Texas trial with Google Inc., Yahoo Inc. and other technology giants.

U.S. District Judge Leonard Davis signed off Tuesday on the motion to dismiss Citigroup from the case lodged by Eolas and the Regents of the University of California.
