Oracle Builds Cloud Services With $1.9B Taleo Buy

Law360, New York (February 09, 2012, 1:18 PM ET) -- Oracle Corp. will bulk up its cloud-based offerings with the acquisition of human resources software company Taleo Corp. for about $1.9 billion, the technology giant announced Wednesday.

Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle is snapping up Taleo for $46 per share, an 18 percent premium on the closing price of the company's stock Wednesday.
