UBS Sells 50 Fla. Acres For Potential Disney-Area Hotel

Law360, New York (February 9, 2012, 3:37 PM EST) -- Swiss bank UBS Securities LLC has sold 50 acres of vacant land near Walt Disney World to New York investor Garrison Investment Group for $8.75 million, people close to the matter confirmed Thursday.

The transaction for the tract of land, which sits along Florida's Interstate 4 and wraps around the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort golf course, was completed in two parts in late January, with Garrison Orlando Land LLC paying $4.34 million for 24.6 acres and $4.4 million for the other roughly 24.9 acres, according...
