Law360, New York (February 09, 2012, 5:54 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Thursday ordered Oracle America Inc. to produce four of its engineers for deposition in its intellectual property fight with Google Inc. over the Android smartphone operating system.
U.S. District Judge William Alsup ordered Oracle to “make available without subpoena” Oracle engineers John R. Rose, Peter Kessler, Christopher Plummer and Hinkmond Wong.
The tussle over the engineers’ testimony comes from a discovery dispute arising from Oracle expert Ian Cockburn’s third damages report.
