KBR Says US Withholding Docs In $100M FCA Suit

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 3:35 PM ET) -- Kellogg Brown & Root Services Inc. said Thursday that the federal government is refusing to turn over important documents in a $100 million False Claims Act suit against the contractor for allegedly billing the government for private security during the Iraq war.

The company is seeking copies of invoices, documents relating to the U.S. Army’s protection of contractors in Iraq and information about the government’s dealings with other contractors in Iraq that relate to private security, it said in a motion to compel discovery.
