Energy Venture Sues Over Indiana Transmission Project

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 5:14 PM EST) -- A joint venture of American Electric Power Co. Inc. and Duke Energy Corp. sued a NiSource Inc. affiliate in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Wednesday over which energy company can build the first phase of an Indiana transmission project.

The dispute centers around a high-voltage electrical transmission line project between electric substations in Greentown, Ind., north of Indianapolis, and Rockport, Ind., along the Ohio River on the state's southern border.
