GSA Revives Guidance For Building Contract Pay Process

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 6:12 PM EST) -- The General Services Administration on Friday reinstated guidance on the release-of-claims process that happens following the completion of construction and building services government contracts.

The final rule, effective March 12, amends the GSA Acquisition Regulation. It restores guidance on the release of claims after completion of construction and building services contracts to ensure that contractors are paid in accordance with their contract requirements and for work performed, according to a Federal Register notice.
