Chipmunks Sing State Court Blues In 9th Circ. Fox IP Case

Law360, Los Angeles (February 13, 2012, 8:44 PM ET) -- An attorney for the production company behind The Chipmunks asked the Ninth Circuit on Monday to reverse a district court's order sending its infringement suit against Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. to a state court referee, saying federal courts have sole authority to hear copyright claims.
