Law360, New York (February 14, 2012, 7:53 PM ET) -- Crystal Cruises Inc. on Tuesday settled its suit in Florida accusing Rolls-Royce PLC and others of repeatedly overstating the reliability of the allegedly faulty Mermaid propulsion system.
U.S. District Judge Joan A. Lenard dismissed the case after the parties told the court they had settled the suit. The litigation was brought by Crystal Cruises and Crystal Ship Three (Bahamas) Ltd. against Rolls-Royce, Rolls-Royce AB, Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine Inc., Converteam SAS and a joint venture between Rolls-Royce AB and Converteam.
