Law360, New York (February 14, 2012, 6:10 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday agreed to open an investigation into claims from patent licensing company Mondis Technology Ltd. that Chimei Innolux Corp. infringed two patents for plug-and-play video display technology.
London-based Mondis filed a complaint with the ITC on Jan. 13, accusing Chimei Innolux and its subsidiary Innolux Corp. of violating Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing computer monitors, televisions and related products into the U.S. that infringe the patents-in-suit.
