Bernanke Says Examiners Need 'Balance' In Bank Reviews

Law360, New York (February 16, 2012, 6:57 PM EST) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on Thursday told a conference of community bankers that bank examiners need to achieve a “balance” between protecting financial institutions and allowing them to make loans to customers, responding to growing criticism of the examination process.
