Europe Gets Another Stab At Patent Reform

Law360, New York (March 7, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- European government ministers have approved a law that would reform the current patent framework in the European Union, but the measure still faces fierce opposition in the European Parliament.

Under the most likely scenario, the proposed directive will now either become European law within a year or be rejected altogether.
