Law360, New York (February 17, 2012, 6:03 PM ET) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Friday asked the Florida Supreme Court to weigh in on Washington National Insurance Corp.'s appeal of a summary judgment order against it in a class action over the insurer's denial of home health care benefits.
The federal appeals court certified a question to the state high court, saying that the insurance policies at issue are ambiguous and that Florida law is unsettled on the proper way to resolve the ambiguity.
