Ernst & Young Challenges Wage-And-Hour Action

Law360, New York (July 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ernst & Young has shot back in a putative class action that alleges the accounting firm failed to compensate for overtime wages and missed meal and rest breaks, as is required under California law.

The Manhattan-based Big 4 firm denied the claims against it on Tuesday and alleged in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that the amended complaint failed to raise sufficient facts to state a cause of action against Ernst & Young.
