Law360, New York (February 22, 2012, 3:04 PM ET) -- Vietnam on Monday launched another dispute in the World Trade Organization over U.S. anti-dumping duties on Vietnamese shrimp exports, following the judicial body's earlier condemnation of the U.S.' use of zeroing to calculate the duties.
In a petition filed with the WTO’s dispute settlement panel, Vietnam requested consultations concerning U.S. anti-dumping measures on frozen warmwater shrimp imports from Vietnam.
Vietnam filed the consultation request as one of the preliminary stages in a dispute, but details of the complaint were not yet available.
