Kirkland Energy M&A Pro Jumps To Baker Botts

Law360, New York (February 22, 2012, 7:19 PM EST) -- Baker Botts LLP's Washington, D.C., office has lured a former Kirkland & Ellis LLP partner with experience counseling energy companies on mergers and acquisitions, the company said Wednesday.

Elaine Walsh started with the firm Wednesday after an 11-year stint at Kirkland, where she represented a variety of companies in the coal, electric power and gas storage industries. Her practice focuses on commercial negotiations and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
