Judge Nixes Hasbro’s Injunction Bid Against MGA

Law360, New York (August 01, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Rhode Island federal judge has denied Hasbro Inc.'s request to stop a rival gaming company from allegedly violating a trademark for the toy giant’s “Memory” card-matching games.

U.S. District Judge William E. Smith ruled Tuesday that Hasbro was unable to establish that it was likely to win its lawsuit against MGA Entertainment Inc. in denying its motion for a preliminary injunction.
