Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 11:08 PM ET) -- Information technology developer LinkCo Inc. sued McGuireWoods LLP and three attorneys in Illinois state court on Thursday, claiming the firm bungled a fraud and trade secrets suit LinkCo launched against Fujitsu Ltd.
McGuireWoods partner George Spatz and former McGuireWoods attorneys Kenneth Dort and Jeremiah Posedel – now with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP – should have told LinkCo to name Fujitsu's attorneys in its suit seeking to nullify a past settlement reached between the companies over alleged trade secret misappropriation, according to the complaint.
