Senators Urge Extension Of Wind Power Tax Credit

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 1:41 PM EST) -- A bipartisan group of 12 U.S. senators have called on Senate leadership to push for a quick extension of a wind energy production tax credit set to expire at the end of the year, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., said Thursday.

Kerry joined Sens. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., Mark Udall, D-Colo., and nine others in underlining the importance of the tax credit for a growing wind industry in the U.S. in a letter sent to Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
