House Group Takes Gay Spouse Benefits Ruling To 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 6:28 PM EST) -- The U.S. House of Representatives advisory group that has worked to defend the Defense of Marriage Act on Friday appealed to the Ninth Circuit a California federal judge’s ruling that the act unconstitutionally denies employment benefits to members of lawful same-sex marriages.
