Holder Taps Tony West For DOJ's No. 3 Spot

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 8:44 PM ET) -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder named Tony West — who has led the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Division in its defense of federal laws and pursuit of white-collar criminals for three years — to the third-highest position at the DOJ on Monday.

West will replace Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli. Also elevated Monday was Stuart Delery, currently senior counselor to the attorney general, who will take West's old post as acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Division, according to the DOJ.
