EEOC Updates ADA Guidance For 1 Million Returning Vets

Law360, New York (February 28, 2012, 1:15 PM ET) -- With 1 million veterans expected to return home over the next five years, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Tuesday unveiled updated guidance for employers on the rights of veterans with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The agency issued two publications, one aimed at employers and one aimed at veterans, that incorporate new guidance based on changes to the law stemming from the ADA Amendments Act.
