Calif. Appeals Court Won’t Rehear Volt Discrimination Dispute

Law360, San Diego (February 28, 2012, 11:29 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Monday refused to reconsider its decision affirming that staffing and placement services company Volt Management Corp. could not compel arbitration of a former employee’s disability and age discrimination suit.

The three-judge panel shot down Volt’s bid for a rehearing, finding the company’s arguments that the appeals court had failed to address certain issues raised in the appeal were without merit.
