DynCorp Subcontractor Sues Steel Co. Over Afghan Well Piping

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 6:35 PM EST) -- A DynCorp International Inc. subcontractor sued a steel processor in Colorado federal court on Tuesday, seeking to recoup costs stemming from its allegedly shoddy piping materials, which were used in well construction for the U.S. military in Afghanistan. 

Layne Christensen Co. alleges weld collars attached to lengths of pipe supplied by Mill Man Steel Inc. failed during construction of the wells and rendered the goods ineffective, according to the suit.
