Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 4:25 PM ET) -- Siemens AG has won a €170 million ($230 million) contract to supply 20 electric trains to Britain's rail system, the latest in a string of U.K. rail contracts won by the German manufacturer, it said Wednesday.
The trains will be delivered in 2013 and 2014 to Go-Ahead Group PLC and First Group PLC, which operate regional train routes, and will be maintained at Siemens's depot in Manchester, the company said.
