Bill Would Create Registry Of Legit Web Pharmacies

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 4:48 PM EST) -- A bill introduced Tuesday in the U.S. House of Representatives would create a registry of legitimate online pharmacies maintained by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which its sponsors said would fight rampant illegal selling of prescription drugs over the Internet.

Reps. Mike Ross, D-Ark., and Bill Cassidy, R-La., introduced the bill, known as the Online Pharmacy Safety Act.
