Fees Can't Be Cut After Lodestar Calculation, Fed. Circ. Says

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 5:55 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Thursday overturned a decision slashing attorneys' fees for a class of Texas landowners in a property dispute, finding the lodestar calculation used to determine the fees should have already included potentially significant factors such as the plaintiffs’ settlement award.
