Ex-DuPont Worker Admits He Sold Secrets To Chinese Co.

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 10:48 PM EST) -- A former DuPont & Co. employee reportedly pled guilty Thursday in California to stealing trade secrets and selling them to rivals backed by the Chinese government.

At a hearing in California federal court, Tze Chao said he had used information about DuPont’s secret paint pigment process to help Chinese state-owned Pangang Group Co. Ltd., according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.
