Dodgers Offer Ch. 11 Trade-Off To Beaten Fan

Law360, New York (March 2, 2012, 2:41 PM EST) -- A baseball fan who was severely beaten last year at a Los Angeles Dodgers game would win access to the team’s insurance coffers in exchange for backing the Dodgers’ reorganization plan under a compromise put forward Thursday by the team.

Bryan Stow, a San Francisco Giants fan who was attacked last year following the Dodgers’ home opener, claimed in a California state court suit in May that the Dodgers, owner Frank McCourt and several other defendants failed to prevent the incident.
