Law360, New York (March 05, 2012, 2:08 PM ET) -- A subsidiary of India's largest private power utility Tata Power Co. Ltd. and South African mining company Exxaro Resources Ltd. have teamed up to develop electricity generation projects in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, the companies announced Monday.
Taking equal stakes in the venture, known as Cennergi (Pty) Ltd., the companies said they will initially focus on a pipeline of renewable energy projects in South Africa. Financial details of the partnership, however, were not immediately disclosed.
