Hain Says Federal Law Preempts Calif. Organic Standard

Law360, New York (March 05, 2012, 1:59 PM ET) -- The Hain Celestial Group Inc. sought Friday to end a proposed class action protesting the marketing of Jason and Avalon Organics cosmetic products as organic, claiming the suit relies heavily on a California standard that is preempted by federal law.
