Law360, New York (March 05, 2012, 3:00 PM ET) -- UK private equity firm Emerging Capital Partners has sold its 1.5 percent stake in an African copper manufacturer to a Hong Kong subsidiary of state-owned Chinese mining company China Minmetals Ltd., the PE firm said Monday.
Emerging Capital said it had sold its stake in copper producer Anvil Mining Ltd., headquartered in Canada but with its operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to Hong Kong-based MMG Malachite Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of China Minmetals.
