Ex-Aon Exec Gets Trade Secrets Claims Knocked Down

Law360, New York (March 05, 2012, 5:56 PM ET) -- A New York state judge on Friday stripped trade secrets theft allegations against a former Aon Corp. affiliate executive from Aon's lawsuit over an alleged "massive raid" of its clients and employees by the rogue executive and rival insurance broker Alliant Insurance Services Inc.

Judge Bernard J. Fried said Aon hadn't shown that either The Blackstone Group LP-owned Alliant or former Aon Construction Services Group Executive Vice President Michael Cusack had made off with Aon's trade secrets.
