Espada Tax Charges Filed In Wrong District, Judge Says

Law360, New York (March 6, 2012, 9:40 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed seven out of eight tax charges against ex-New York Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Jr. and his son stemming from their alleged embezzlement of their nonprofit health care network, finding the charges had been filed in the wrong district.
