Law360, New York (March 07, 2012, 6:16 PM ET) -- Paula Deen on Wednesday won a lawsuit against an event promoter who claimed the celebrity chef wrongfully backed out of a deal to let him organize her national tour.
U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein ruled in New York federal court that Deen was free to abandon a contract with Celebrity Chefs Tour LLC and its principal Gary Ravet after CCT bounced a $150,000 deposit check.
