Don’t Punish Attys For Not Settling Bias Cases, 1st Circ. Hears

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 6:50 PM EDT) -- Lawyers for prevailing plaintiffs in discrimination cases shouldn't get short shrift on fee awards just because they refused to settle, the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts warned the First Circuit in an amicus brief Thursday.
