Maximus, Insurer Drop Claims Over $78M Texas Settlement

Law360, New York (March 09, 2012, 5:34 PM ET) -- Maximus Inc. dropped its suit Friday against Twin City Fire Insurance Co., one of two insurers it sued in Virginia federal court in November for claims relating to $78 million in losses from a 2008 Texas public-health contract dispute settlement.

The stipulation of dismissal filed Friday says Maximus and Twin City will dismiss with prejudice claims against each other and each bear their own costs and fees but provides no other information on the terms of any deal. Counsel for Maximus declined to comment Friday, citing...
