NRC Rolls Out Rules For Post-Fukushima Nuclear Safety

Law360, Washington (March 12, 2012, 6:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued new rules Friday requiring commercial nuclear reactors to enhance preventative monitoring and safety equipment to guard against accidental and natural disaster damage, and prevent a crisis similar to the meltdown that occurred at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant last year.
