T-Mobile Wireless Networks Flout 4 Patents, Suit Says

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 3:06 PM EDT) -- T-Mobile USA Inc. on Thursday was sued in New Jersey federal court by a Luxembourg-based patent holder that says the telecommunications company infringed several of its patents in its wireless networks.

High Point SARL claims T-Mobile’s telecommunications networks utilize four of the European company’s network patents despite having been informed of High Point’s patent rights.

“Thereafter, T-Mobile continued to infringe [patents],” the complaint said. “On information and belief, T-Mobile's infringement of the [patents] has been willful.”
