Cypress, Ericsson Resolve ITC Battle Over SRAM Patents

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 8:36 PM EDT) -- Cypress Semiconductor Corp. and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson are seeking to release Ericsson from an ongoing complaint before the U.S. International Trade Commission alleging Ericsson and other companies imported memory sticks that infringe a number of Cypress patents, Cypress announced Monday.

The two companies reached an agreement in the case involving static random access memory, or SRAM, products made by GSI Technology Inc. that allegedly infringe four Cypress patents.
