Facebook Snags Yahoo Privacy Counsel

Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 3:40 PM EDT) -- Facebook Inc. has snatched an attorney from Yahoo Inc. to serve as its lead privacy counsel, the company confirmed Thursday.

Joshua Smith joined the social networking giant in February. He previously served as Yahoo's senior legal director of privacy, where he was the primary privacy counsel for the company's consumer products and platforms, according to Facebook.
