Law360, New York (March 16, 2012, 7:18 PM ET) -- Atlas Resource Partners, the newly launched drilling arm of Atlas Energy LP, said Friday it will buy Texas shale holdings from Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. for $190 million and raised its projected distributions to investors.
The assets, located in the Barnett Shale in northern Texas, have proved reserves of about 277 billion cubic feet equivalent and include 221 wells currently producing 36 million cubic feet per day, the companies said.
