High Court Vows Same-Day Audio Of Health Care Debate

Law360, New York (March 16, 2012, 5:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court said Friday that it will provide same-day audio recordings of oral arguments in the disputes over the new health care reform law's individual insurance mandate, which start later this month, but will apparently stick to its longstanding ban on live transmission of proceedings.

Citing "the extraordinary public interest in those cases," the high court said in a press release that it would post the audio recordings and official transcripts of the oral arguments — scheduled for March 26-28 — on its website...
