Law360, New York (March 19, 2012, 7:36 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Monday that anti-dumping duty orders on stainless steel bar from Brazil, India, Japan and Spain ought to stay in place, finding that doing away with the orders would probably translate to more dumping.
Commerce's affirmative determinations from the expedited sunset reviews on stainless steel bar — articles of stainless steel in straight lengths — is one step toward potentially upholding the existing anti-dumping orders, which were put in place in 1995.
