Former Qwest CFO Joins Bid To Toss MDL Claims

Law360, New York (August 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former chief financial officer of Qwest Communications International Inc. has thrown his weight behind requests that a federal judge dismiss claims of putative class members in the multidistrict securities litigation brought by a group of pension funds in the wake of the company's $3 billion accounting scandal.

Robin Szeliga said in court documents filed Thursday that she joined her co-defendants' various motions to dismiss certain plaintiffs' complaints, arguing that the plaintiffs' claims against her are “legally invalid.”
