Arab Bank Ordered To Release Docs In Hamas Terror Suit

Law360, New York (March 21, 2012, 8:08 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday ordered Arab Bank PLC to provide documents dating back to 1995 to a group of non-U.S. citizens suing the bank over its alleged role in funding terrorist acts perpetrated by Hamas and other Palestinian groups.

Magistrate Judge Viktor V. Pohorelsky ruled the bank's limitation of documents during the current discovery phase was improper, and gave the bank 30 days to supplement its responses to interrogations from the plaintiffs, who include survivors of terrorist attacks and their families, to cover...
