Sony Agrees To Sell Chemical Products Biz To Japanese Bank

Law360, New York (March 22, 2012, 3:00 PM EDT) -- Sony Corp. has tentatively agreed to sell its Tokyo-based chemical products businesses to the Development Bank of Japan Inc., the technology giant announced Thursday.

After signing a nonbinding memorandum, the two companies said they are in the process of doing due diligence on the proposed sale of part of Sony Chemical & Information Device Corp.
