CIT Rejects Ribbon Co.'s Anti-Dumping Duty Challenge

Law360, New York (March 22, 2012, 8:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade rejected Yangzhou Bestpak Gifts & Crafts Co. Ltd.'s challenge Thursday to the rate it was assigned by the U.S. Department of Commerce in an anti-dumping probe over ribbons, holding that the rate wasn't unreasonable because Commerce had so little data to work with.

Judge Judith Barzilay sustained Commerce's decision to assign a 123.83 percent rate to Bestpak, even though the court previously remanded the matter to Commerce over concerns that the rate might not reasonably reflect Bestpak's dumping margin....
