James Cameron Denies Stealing 'Avatar' From Fantasy Writer

Law360, New York (March 23, 2012, 3:52 PM ET) -- Director James Cameron told a California federal judge on Thursday that his blockbuster film "Avatar" is far different from a screenwriter's unmade fantasy film, calling on the court to dismiss one of several suits that claim he ripped off the idea for the 2009 box office smash.
