Mytrah Inks Deal To Build Wind Farms For Indian State

Law360, New York (March 23, 2012, 2:23 PM EDT) -- Mytrah Energy Ltd., an British builder of wind farms in India, has signed an exclusive agreement with the government of a southeastern Indian state for 2,800 megawatts of new wind capacity, the company said Friday.

The deal with officials in Andhra Pradesh gives Mytrah seven years of exclusive development rights, and comes two days after the state renewed requirements for utilities to buy clean energy.
